Shipping policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at ELK3D LLC. The following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

Order Processing Times

All orders are processed within [1–3] business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

• Order Cut-Off Time: Orders placed after [2:00 PM EST] will begin processing the following business day.

• High Volume Delays: If we are experiencing a high volume of orders (e.g., holidays, major sales), shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email.

Note: Paying for expedited shipping (e.g., 2-Day, Next Day) only guarantees the carrier's transit time. It does not bypass our standard processing time.

Domestic Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to weather, carrier network volume, or other unforeseen circumstances outside of [Store Name]'s control.

International Shipping

We offer international shipping, please reach out for international shipping rates. 

Customs, Duties, and Taxes:

ELK3D LLC is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping (tariffs, taxes, duties, VAT, etc.) are the sole responsibility of the customer. If a package is returned to us due to unpaid customs fees, we will refund the cost of the products minus the original shipping cost and any return shipping fees assessed by the carrier.

Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will become active within 24–48 hours as the carrier scans your package into their system.

Incomplete or Incorrect Addresses

Please review your shipping address carefully at checkout. [Store Name] is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.

• If the package is returned to us due to an address error, the customer is responsible for any reshipment costs.

• If you realize you have made an error, please contact us immediately at Orders@ELK3D.com. We will do our best to update the address, but we cannot guarantee changes once the order is in processing.

Lost, Stolen, or Missing Packages

Once a package is handed over to the carrier, ELK3D LLC transfers liability for the delivery.

• If your tracking information states that your package was delivered but you have not received it, please check with neighbors, building management, or surrounding areas.

• We are not liable for packages that are stolen from your property after delivery is confirmed by the carrier.

• (Optional, if applicable): We recommend selecting our Shipping Protection add-on at checkout to insure your package against loss or theft.

Damages

If you receive a damaged item, please contact us at Orders@ELK3D.com within [48 hours] of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include:

1. Your order number

2. Photos of the damaged item(s)

3. Photos of the exterior and interior packaging

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim, as the carrier may require an inspection.

How to add this to your Shopify Store:

1. Log in to your Shopify Admin.

2. Click Settings (the gear icon at the bottom left).

3. Click Policies.

4. Scroll down to the Shipping Policy section.

5. Paste your customized text, format it using the editor, and click Save.

6. Make sure to add a link to your Policies in your footer navigation via Online Store > Navigation.
